A dark horse in bright colours
But she's not like the others
Standing at the back, ready to attack
They're laughing and joking unaware
The question is "does anyone care?"
They probably do but she can't see
Her visions not what it used to be
Clouded and obscured, Desperately needing cured
Now she talks through actions
She's barely even a fraction
Compared to her former self
She's a wreck, destroying her health
But its haunting, her inner demon's taunting
Theres waterfalls in her tearducts
And now she's ready for self-destruct
Things have happened, things have been said
Messed around in her messed up head
She used to be tough, but now she's had enough
They've started the time bomb thats descending
She's about to crack, no more pretending
But a voice close to her simply says "no"
She realises this isn't the way to go
The fire disappears from her eyes, the anger neutralised
No more need to kick and shout
The hand that once pointed reaches out
A dark horse in bright colours
But she's not like the others
But they don't care, cos they'll be there
Helping her through the storms and rain
Letting her be herself again
